  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do not reside personally upon ye Cure of Shaugh. I reside on Ernesettle in the Parish of St. Budeaux. I have a Licenced Curate, the Revd Mr. William Smith. His Salary is £35 a year with the Surplice Fees of Shaugh and Samford. The Curate is Schoolmaster of St. Budeaux, and there resides. There is no Lecturer. St Budeaux is situated conveniently for ye Service of both Parishes.

  2. Other benefices: I have ye Windsor Curacy of Shaugh annexed to Samford: And ye vicarage of St Budeaux in this Diocese. I am also Vicar of Runcorn in Cheshire.

  3. Divine service at other churches: The Curate performs Divine Service at Sampford Spiny alternately Forenoon and Afternoon.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed once every Lord's Day, with a Sermon.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament is administered Seven times a year. There are about thirty Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: Generally every Summer, or every other Summer.

  7. Church fabric: The Church and Chancel are in good repair, and there are all things decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: There are no Glebe Lands belonging to Shaugh, except a Small poor House.

  9. Number of families: There are about forty Families.

  10. Chapels: There is no Chapel within the Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are no reputed Papists in the Parish, nor any Dissenting meeting Houses of any Denomination.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is no Public School in the Parish, no Alms House, Hospital or Library.

  13. Charity: I know of no Lands or other benefactions having been left to ye Parish.
